These terms apply to all orders and interactions with Kilford Studios, both online and in person, for private and business clients in Portugal and the European Union.\u2028 The applicable law is Portuguese, with jurisdiction in the District Court of Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work with files prepared for high-quality results.
\u2022 Accepted formats: TIFF (flattened), JPG, PNG (no transparency), HEIC
\u2022 Colour mode: Preferably RGB
\u2022 Minimum size: 20×30 cm or A4
By uploading a file, the client confirms that they hold all necessary copyright\/licences for reproduction.\u2028 We do not print offensive or illegal content and will refuse any file that violates applicable law or third-party rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Prices are shown in euros (\u20ac), with VAT included.
\u2022 Where \u201c+ VAT\u201d is indicated, tax will be added to the listed amount.
\u2022 Full payment is required at the time of order, unless specific terms have been previously agreed for business clients.
\u2022 Payment methods: bank transfer, credit\/debit card, Multibanco and MB WAY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prices displayed in our online configurator (Kilfigurator) are the only valid and binding prices at the time of order.\u2028 Any price discrepancies displayed elsewhere on the website, in previous communications, or promotional materials are not contractually valid.\u2028 Kilford Studios reserves the right to correct typographical or publication errors while maintaining full transparency and good faith with its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An order is considered accepted once payment is confirmed.\u2028 All files are reviewed to ensure that print quality meets Kilford Studios\u2019 standards. If issues are found, we will suggest alternatives or, if necessary, issue a refund.\u2028 Production begins without a final proof, except when issues are identified that require client confirmation. \u2028Once production has started, cancellations are not accepted. Changes may be evaluated but are not guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We work efficiently and with realistic timeframes:

Orders placed after 11:00 are considered received on the following business day. \u2028During busy periods, lead times may be extended by 1\u20133 business days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 We ship to Portugal, Spain, and other EU countries (zones 2 and 3).
\u2022 Free local collection is available at our partner store.
\u2022 Responsibility for transport lies with the carrier from the moment the order is handed over.
\u2022 The client must check the packaging upon delivery and refuse any visibly damaged shipment, immediately notifying the courier and Kilford Studios to initiate a claim.
\u2022 Delays attributable to the carrier do not constitute a breach by Kilford Studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 All works are made to order, and the legal 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.
\u2022 Any defect or damage must be reported by email, with photos, within 48 hours of delivery.
\u2022 A return for inspection may be requested. If a production error is confirmed, we will reprint or issue a credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We operate with professional colour management, calibrated monitors, and ICC profiles specific to each paper.\u2028 Differences between personal screens and printed results stem from unavoidable technical variables (calibration, profiles, lighting, etc.).\u2028 For consistent results, we recommend reviewing your work on a calibrated monitor, if needed in our studio or using soft proofing with the ICC profiles we provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our prints, produced with archival papers and inks, can achieve lifespans exceeding 200 years according to manufacturer data and Wilhelm Research, under ideal display conditions. \u2028Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity. Following these best practices is essential to preserving the artwork\u2019s integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We typically store client files for up to 12 months to facilitate reprints.\u2028 However, Kilford Studios is not a storage service and may delete files at any time at its discretion.\u2028 All files are stored securely on a local server.\u2028 The client remains responsible for the legality of all submitted content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We may showcase images of works produced in our studio on social media or other promotional platforms, unless the client expressly indicates otherwise at the time of order.\u2028 This exposure may benefit the client through increased visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2028The website must be used lawfully and responsibly.\u2028All content (texts, images, logos) is the exclusive property of Kilford Studios. \u2028Any unauthorised use is prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.\u2028 We are not responsible for indirect losses, consequential damages, or loss of profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In case of a dispute, the client may contact the Lisbon Consumer Arbitration Centre (www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any legal proceedings will be handled by the District Court of Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kilford Studios shall not be held liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, equipment failures, transport interruptions, power outages, or public-health emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.\u2028Failure by Kilford Studios to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.\u2028 These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Kilford Studios and the client, superseding any prior communications or agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kilford Studios may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.\u2028 The version published on the website is the one currently in effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
